Policy-oriented topics, topic changes every year
Past Resolutions [Arms Sales, Criminal Justice]
A partnered style of debate (two students vs two students) that focuses on policy-making, and whether or not the U.S. federal government should enact a plan.
The affirmative (aff) team defends a plan that fits in the resolution, while the negative (neg) team criticizes it (by pointing out contradictions, etc)
Usual debate round duration: 90 minutes
